The LRHS 2018 Junior & Senior Prom on Saturday, April 7th may go down in history as one of the coldest proms with the temperature in the low 40s at the 8:00 PM start time.  The temperature did not affect the attendance of just over 340 students making an appearance at the Pythian Castle.  The Junior Class Prom Committee, under the guidance of Mrs. Stephanie Matlock, planned a wonderful event.  The Eiffel Tower and glow of blue brought the theme to life.  At the midpoint of the evening, the Prom Prince and Princess and the Prom King and Queen were crowned.  The LRHS Juniors and Seniors should be commended for their 2018 selections. 

Prince J.D. Kennedy underwent a difficult surgery and was able to attend prom with the assistance of a wheelchair and Princess Sydney Dunavant worked many hours behind the scenes on prom preparation. 

King Owen Baird and Queen Sydney VonBehren stole the show when they were announced as 2018 Royalty.  By their votes, the LRHS juniors and seniors created a lasting memory for these two seniors.
