LRHS Homecoming 2025

Logan-Rogersville Hosts First Annual Homecoming Parade
The Logan-Rogersville community came together in full Wildcat spirit for the first annual Homecoming Parade, marking a new tradition that brought pride, excitement, and unity to the district.
The parade, held midday on Friday, featured a variety of colorful floats and spirited entries from Logan-Rogersville’s many sports teams, clubs, and organizations with a Teen Beach Movie theme. From the marching band’s upbeat tunes to the creative displays by student groups, the event showcased the enthusiasm and school pride that define Wildcat Nation.
The idea for the parade began with a group of community members who wanted to create a fun, family-friendly event that celebrated both the students and the broader Logan-Rogersville community. Their combined efforts with the high school StuCo and staff paid off as the JH and HS sidewalks were filled with students, parents, staff, and residents cheering on the floats and waving from the crowd. The parade was led by the high school’s resident therapy dog, Sofie Taylor.
Before the parade kicked off, LRHS students spent the morning visiting each of the district’s elementary schools to host pep assemblies. These energetic gatherings helped spread school spirit across all grade levels and built anticipation for the afternoon’s festivities.
The day’s celebrations culminated in a thrilling football game Friday night, where the Wildcats capped off Homecoming Week with a big win over Hillcrest.
The success of this first-ever Homecoming Parade has already sparked excitement for the future, with many in the community eager to see the event become an annual tradition celebrating the pride and togetherness of Logan-Rogersville.
